It’s that time of year again… Exam season is approaching! I remember being sat this time last year feeling like I was counting down to doomsday, but I’m here to tell the tale. As I’ve ‘been there, done it, got the t-shirt’, I thought it would be a great idea to do some sort of series where I talk about school, revision and exams.
I sat my GCSEs last year; I did English, Maths, Triple Science, Spanish, Photography, Geography and Drama. I was so, so happy with my results! Honestly, I had this idea in my head that something bad would happen and I wouldn’t be able to sit my GCSEs. I literally felt like I was living some sort of nightmare going into my first exam. But let me tell you, if I can make it out alive without having a breakdown, you can too.
What this series consist of? I plan to talk about individual subjects that I did, and the techniques that helped me. Of course, everybody has their own systems that work for them but if you haven’t found what works for you, some of my ways may work. I also plan on answering any of your questions, sharing general study tips, and how to prepare for the first day of your exams. If you have any ideas of any things you would like to see in this series, let me know!
When will I upload? I try to upload once a week minimum anyway, alongside this I want to upload one ‘Study with Alex’ post. Maybe on a Friday, as Friday evenings and Sunday mornings seem to work best for me!
Sorry this post is pretty short, but it’s just an introduction to the new series. I’ll see you tomorrow for a new post in this series.
PS: I hope you liked my blogpost I uploaded this morning, if you haven’t read it, click here 😉
