There’s always that one person who you struggle to think of gift ideas for. For me, it’s my mom! She’s soooo difficult to buy for! Today I thought I would help out those of you who are in the same situation as me by sharing some gift ideas for her. There are a range of ideas depending on what your price budget is and who you’re buying for. I hope you find this post useful, and perhaps it’ll trigger even more ideas!
Whether it’s your mom, sister, friend, auntie, girlfriend, grandma, cousin, I’m pretty sure wears some sort of jewellery. A good idea would be to buy a charm bracelet, perhaps one from Pandora or Thomas Sabo. This way, you will have a gift idea for every occasion – you can just keep adding to it! We bought my mom a Pandora bracelet a couple of years ago, and each Birthday/Christmas we get her a charm or two to add to the bracelet! Not only do Pandora sell charms and bracelets, but they also sell rings, necklaces and earrings. They have some excellent things in at the moment (I’m LOVING the Disney range!).
Tiffany is a bit more on the pricier side, but it is a very popular jewellery brand. Their necklaces are to die for (always been on my dream Christmas list haha!). Although I have never had anything from there myself, I’m guessing they’re popular for a reason. So, if you’re looking for something more on the luxurious side, perhaps you could check out Tiffany!
Tiffany Heart Tag Pendant – £120
Tiffany Bow Earrings – £165
Tiffany Heart Tag Bracelet – £145
Olivia Burton watches are GORGEOUS! I have eyed them up for a few years now in jewellery shops and online, and I’ve decided to put one on my Christmas list this year. They are the perfect gift for if you’re buying for somebody who loves flowers and all things girly. Their most recognisable watches have flowers on the clock face, however they have some more subtle ones which are still just as nice!
Soap and Glory:
Soap and Glory are a brand which are perfect for everybody! Even my mom has used their products (and that’s saying something because she’s pretty fussy – sorry mom!). This year, just like every other, they have a huuugggeee range of gift sets; some have makeup in, some have bath products in, and some have a combination of the two. Their gifts can suit everybody’s budget – you can get gifts ranging from £5 to above £50.
Here are a few gift sets which caught my eye whilst browsing on the Boots website:
This gift set caught my eye. First of all, it is worth £60 and is currently half price. If you know me, you know I love a good bargain. Have you seen how much you get for your money?! You get 12 full size products, all for £30! Surely, that is not something you can squabble over. Inside, there are bath products, skincare products, makeup items, and even a tin to keep things inside!
A little bit more affordable than the first gift set! This is perfect for a friend or your sister, or even a Secret Santa! Inside you get products such as Hand Food (which is one of my faves) and a Radiance Boosting Face Mask, and lots of other wonderful things which are great and kind to your skin!
Soap and Glory do some wonderful sprays! In this gift set, you get 3 full size sprays which are worth £4 each. This is a perfect stocking filler for maybe your sister, or even your mom if she loves fruity scents!
Is it me, or is the period between Christmas and New Year very sad? I always feel so groggy around this time, and I can imagine I’m not alone on this one. What better way to brighten up the last week of the year than to buy somebody a ‘countdown to New Year’ calendar?! The Body Shop have released one but unfortunately I cannot find it anywhere online. However, Revolution have a calendar containing 7 full size makeup products, all of which would be perfect for New Year if you are going out to celebrate!
If you are buying for somebody who loves makeup, why not buy them an eyeshadow palette? There are a wide range of palettes out there from many different shops to suit anybody’s budget. Urban Decay are well known for their pigmented eyeshadow! Not very long ago, they released their Naked Cherry palette – it has colours which are so in trend right now!
Another well known makeup brand – Benefit! Whenever I think of Christmas, a brand that always pops to mind is Benefit. Once again, they do perfect gift sets! This one caught my eye because it contains some of the brand’s most popular products, and all in a makeup bag.
Diaries and Calendars:
No matter who you’re buying for, I’m pretty sure they can find a use for a 2019 diary or calendar!
2019 A4 Week to View Planner & Organiser – £11.99 (Amazon)
A5 ‘squeeze the day’ 2019 Diary – £14 (Amazon)
Caroline Gardner A5 New Adventures 2019 Diary – £8 (John Lewis)
Why not get somebody a personalised calendar full of pictures of you both?
Personalised Calendar – from £5.99 (Funky Pigeon)
Great British Bake Off Slim Official Calendar 2019– £3 (Amazon)
Emma Bridgewater Large Family Organiser 2019 Week to View– £10.99 (WHSmith)
Again, another brand I think of when I hear Christmas: Lush! There’s something for everybody in Lush, even if they don’t have a bath. Alongside their vibrant and wonderfully scented bath bombs, they sell shower gel, bars of soap, face masks and even shower bombs!
Here are a selection of items I have found which would be great gifts:
Christmas Candy Box – £19.95
Little Snow Fairy – £12.50
Jolly Holidays – £37.95
Sparkle – £19.95
If you live near a Lush with a spa, how about you gift them treatment at the spa? For me, it’s pretty pricey but if it’s for somebody special and it’s in your price range, then why not?
There’s something about personalised gifts. If you know me, then I LOVE all things handmade and personal! It adds a touch to gifts and shows that a lot of thought has gone into it. There are so many websites which offer the service to personalise gifts.
Things I Love About… gift – £9.95 (notonthehighstreet)
Personalised Sunflower Mug– £8 (Etsy)
Personalised Initial Letter Necklace – £21 (notonthehighstreet)
Favourite Song Soundwaves Print – £25 (notonthehighstreet)
Finally, if you want to give someone a memorable gift, experiences are a great thing to give them! Websites such as Virgin Experience Days and Red Letter Days have a range of experiences suitable for anybody! Here are a handful I’ve picked out…
And that concludes my Christmas Gift Guide for Her! I hope you have some ideas for whoever it is you’re buying for. This post has definitely been one of my favourite to put together! Stay tuned for later on in the week when I upload my Gift Guide for Him.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
